Mater is modernising and digitising the way our health community connects. We hope the Mater Connect platform provides a centralised hub where you can collaborate with, learn from and stay up-to-date with your peers. 

If you would like to provide feedback or would like to request a new digital feature or function, please contact us via the Mater Service Delivery Portal

  1. Login using your Mater credentials
  2. Select 'I have a problem'
  3. Select 'Digital Technology and Information'
  4. Provide a contact number and select 'Other'
  5. Provide as much information as possible about what features you'd like added or updated

Frequently Asked Questions

Below are some frequently asked questions about the platform and ways in which Mater can support you with any IT and technical queries as you go.  

I want to change my password but I haven't received my 'password change' email. 

Please contact IT support as above for help with resetting your password. 

Should I click 'stay signed in for 5 days' when I log in? 

If you are using a shared Mater device (laptop or mobile), we strongly suggest that you do not click the 'stay signed in for 5 days' option when logging in. This could mean that the next person to use the shared Mater device has access to your account. 

Should I log out after my session on Mater Connect? 

Yes. We strongly suggest that you always log out of your account when you have finished your session on Mater Connect. This is to ensure that you account remains secure and your information remains protected after you have used the platform.  

To log out: 

  1. Click on your profile photo in the top right-hand corner. 

  1. Click on 'Log Out' from the drop-down menu. 

  1. Ensure the system has confirmed your log-out action. 

How do I change my account privacy settings? 

While your profile may be accessed through the member directory and community rosters, you have control over the information others see on your profile.  

To change your privacy settings for specific profile information:

  1. Click on your profile photo in the top right-hand corner 

  1. Click on your name from the drop-down menu 

  1. Go to 'My Account' and click on 'Privacy Settings' from the drop-down menu 

  1. Set your preferred privacy settings 

Default privacy setting options: 

  • Nobody - Only the user can view the information on his/her own profile. 

  • My Contacts - Only a user and his/her contacts can view the information. 

  • Members Only - Only the user and other members can view the information. 

  • Public - ALL users can view the information, even those who aren't members.
